“This is small design is inspired by motifs and lettering of the classic dutch antique samplers, to stitch in pastel shades on a white fabric for a fresh, modern look. The pattern includes numerals to update the year date when required.”

We love the soft and faded tones of this embroidery, the combination of colors: smokey blue, straw yellow, and wine lees.

The themes represented are original and very varied, evoking the windmills, the factories and first industrial activities, but also the music and the taste for coffee, at the time the West Indies Company traveled the seas.
