In the designer's own words:

“This quirky little design is full of traditional sampler content, with a big house (often the school) in the centre, surrounded by peacocks, birds, hearts, tree motifs, alphabet and numerals. The repeating border has a little border within, which I added to bring it more up-to-date. The rich coral, purple and conker brown shades are given a fresh, modern look with the addition of two tones of paler blue.”
