This cross stitch pattern features a large country house, together with a pair of lovebirds, a peacock (featured left with impressive feathers) and a peahen (the little bird to the right with a small crest on its head) next to a tiny cottage. There are many more motifs filling the sampler, nested birds, sweets and cakes, rabbits, flower pots, banting and a medallion where you can stitch two initials and a date.
