There is lovely detail in the way these branches of blooming cherry trees are pictured. Designer Perrette Samouiloff combines Cross stitch, Backstitch, some French knots and a couple of Three-quarter cross stitches, shaping the delicate flowers.

Birds fly in the background, children play, this is a beautiful spring scene.

The pattern can be stitched on either raw linen or purple fabric. It would look great on overdyed fabric with a mix of purple and lavender tones.
