A cheerful band, singing with all their might. One boy is playing the violin while his friends sing wholeheartedly, reading from their scores.

 

Designed by Perrette Samouiloff, this is a beautiful and tender depiction of children carol singers in cross stitch, with lovely needlework detail, such as the violin with its streched cords or the little pom pom on one of the girl's shoes.

 

The cross stitch chart comes in two versions, one with "Merry Christmas" in cross stitch, which you may position as you wish. It will look great as a background for a wreath  (see photo) or framed in a cross stitch hoop. There is another version, where the central motif is framed by animal mini motifs including a red robin, a squirrel and a rabbit. You can of course combine each of these motifs to make Christmas cards.

 

Stitching involves a couple of fractional stitches, essentially for the animals. There are none on the main motif.
