Children are having a walk in the woods, gathering armfuls of pretty leaves and berries. A little fox keeps them company.

 

This is a straightforward piece to stitch, essentially cross stitch with a few detais in backstitch. Large areas are covered in the same overdyed threadwhich means the color changes on its own (meaning fewer changes of needle for the stitcher).

 

The cross stitch chart offers two options of layouts:

- a banner format with the 3 motifs displayed vertically

- 3 individual squares (ideal if you'd like to use small frames)
