Memory and Music inspired this design.

One snowy evening I settled in with my stitching to watch the opera, Romeo & Juliet. In the scene in Juliet's garden where Romeo sings the glorious aria 'O Nuit Divine' I was suddenly transported back in time.

I was a newlywed walking along the beach at night with my husband. The breeze from the ocean was soft, the moon was so full it seemed you could touch it and the garden beside us was bursting with the fragrance of roses and night blooming jasmine.

One of those special moments that you know will always be with you and a beautiful song rekindles. That was One May Night we'll always remember. Kathy Bungard

We love the way the delicate borders are composed and mix with the overlapping flowers. The composition is much more complex than expected and makes for a rich design you'll have fun stitching and will later treasure as an exceptional piece of work.
