This pattern is designed to be cut out into a heart shape that can be mounted on a felt background (includes instructions).
 

This pattern can alternatively be cross stitched on an ecru background or a linen background: see pictures opposite with one sample stitched on 14ct linen Aida and one stitched on 18ct Off-white Aida.
