Hansel & Gretel
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Lilli Violette
Once upon a time, there were two children, a brother and sister named Hansel and Gretel.... The traditional German fairy tale tells of the children lost in the forest and coming across a house of cake, sugar and candy, where they are entrapped by a witch. Like most fairy tales however, the story ends well and the children escape.
This cross stitch pattern features the part of the story where the hungry children discover in awe the delicious candy and cake before them. The main motif is set within a heart-shaped wreath of green branches, evocative of the forest and there is a little label hanging with the title of the story.
