The designs feature sunny colors - the sun is actually represented as a light yellow disk in the background, with soft orange flowers and green foliage, as if nature had somewhat faded after the summer heat. The leaping hare, the bees and butterflies add extra life to these sweet miniature scenes.
 

The cross stitch pattern includes a couple of fractional stitches for detail. A tutorial is included with the chart for all stitches.
