This skillfuly designed pattern intrically combines cross stitch, backstitch and beads into a superb piece of needlework.

 A lady dances, her body moving with the music, her ample skirt whirling. Yet her face, half hiden behind the oversize fan, shows her in a reflective mood.

The detail of the dress is amazing, with the red satin skirt flowing and lace like embroidery, embellished with seed beads, running the length of the body. The large fan is wide open, revealing an intricate golden motif on a black background.

The design is framed in a black-lace border, rendered in a combination of cross stitch and backstitch. The lady's dress overflows outside of the frame, emphasizing the idea of movement and music.

The chart comes with an extensive Stitching Guide detailing all stitches including fractional stitches.
