How fun and creative: making seed packets in cross stitch.

These three small cross stitch designs will look stunning mounted like little packets. Why not fill them up and make small gifts for a gardener friend. Or display your stitched pieces side by side in a frame. Or make some greeting cards?

Make sure you mount the "packets" to give a dimensional effect to the embroidery. Replace actual seeds with grains of rice if you are only using them for a decorative use.

The seed varieties represented are anemones, nasturtium and sweet peas, in different varieties, and with the words "Bert's Quality seeds" at the base.

 The chart comes with a Cross stitch Guide. There are a few French knots representing scattered seeds. You can replace them with seed beads.
