Folk Art deer
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Lesley Teare Designs
Here's Folk Art deer, a colorful and very decorative cross stitch pattern designed by Lesley Teare.
The pattern features a majestic white stag, a mythical animal symbolising kingship and sometimes though to be a representation of a spirit.
With its large white antlers, the deer is making its way in an imaginary forest of super-large purple flowers. Its ornate hide is a mix of hearts and flowers in contrasting lavender hues.
The designer suggests stitching this piece on a light blue or light grey fabric, so that the white stitching stands out against the background.
All Lesley Teare charts come with an extensive Cross stitch Guide detailing all stitches including fractional stitches.
