Such cute little patterns to cross stitch. The animal silhouettes are filled with a pattern of floral fabric as if they were a piece of  patchwork cut out cookie cutter style.
 
The silhouettes each  fit into a square (note that the little pig overflows a bit with its corkscrew tail). You can cross stitch the piece as a whole. If you stitch each pattern separately, they will make very nice lids for boxes, or cute greeting cards.
 
A square will be 4 x 4 inch (10 x 10 cm) stitch on 16 ct fabric.
 
The stitching is pretty straightforward with only cross stitch with a back stitch outline
