A scandinavian style motif featuring a tree with branches decorated with exquisite hanging ornaments and tips embellished with flowers. Animals adorn the branches, in symetrical pairs: a couple of doves carrying a heart and star ornament, squirrels running along its limbs and two jumping deer at the base.
While simple at first glance, the chart is full of exquisite detail, such as the ornate stars and hearts, worked using golden threads and suspended on red ribbons. The cross stitch pattern includes a couple of fractional stitches, as well as backstitch and French knots. A tutorial is included with the chart for all stitches.
The pattern is stitched in white, ocre and gold againt a red needlework fabric of your choice.
