Have fun sorting your odd buttons and display them, haberdashery style, in your stitching and sewing corner.

Why not stitch several of these pretty collections of buttons, in different colors of fabric and floss, say red cross stitch on white linen for a collection of black and grey buttons?

You can frame each board individually, or mount each one on a separate board and place them side by side in a frame. 

The final touch: use a different color thread for one of the buttons, as in Lesley Teare's stitched sampler where one button is fixed with red thread.
 

The inside of each square is 7 x 7 stitches, half an inch if stitched on 14 ct Aida or 28 ct linen over two threads. Select any buttons that are smaller than that size.
