With a new motif for each day in the run-up to Christmas, this beautiful sampler can be used as a special treat for a stitcher, with one little treat to stitch per day. Or alternatively, if you want to take your time, complete it well ahead, and use as of December use as an advent calendar hanging little goodies in front of each box.

The design features all the characters of the nativity - angels, kings, shepherds, sheep, cows and donkey - setting on their way to the manger to see Baby Jesus in the arms of Mary. 

The cross stitch pattern includes a couple of fractional stitches for detail. A tutorial is included with the chart for all stitches.
