Like dancing in slow motion, the snails have come out and are exploring all over the place. A large mushroom serves as a lookout for the most intrepid. Two more have come to a stop as they look up, surprised to face each other. Leaves and vines have turned to gold and crimson in the warm autumn light. 

This design is by Kateryna, a cross stitch designer based in Ukraine, drawing her inspiration in folk tales and nature. We love the way the forest comes to life in each of each her patterns, as well as the clever layout of each design, mixing stylised elements such as the vines and leaves that contrast with the free organic shapes of the snails.
