CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Kateryna - Stitchy Princess

A Baboushka-like old-lady is standing in front of her home, advertising fresh eggs of her own produce, while her husband looks out of the window. A broody hen looks suspiciously at the seller as if she were about to steel her eggs.

The cross stitch design is very ornamental. Both characters are wearing ukrainian style folk garb, the grandmother in red scraft, green embroidered shawl, long skirt with multiple border motifs and ... slippers. The window and shutters of the home are equally decorated and suggestive of carved wood.

The pattern was stitched on Belfast Vintage Sahara linen by Zweigart. Alternatively you can stitch it on white, off white or light green fabric of your choice.
