Deep in the forest dwell a pair of owls.
This design is by Kateryna, a cross stitch designer based in Ukraine, drawing her inspiration in folk tales and nature, in particular her magical forest world. The owls are featured here among stylised spring trees, covered with blossom.
The work is cross stitched on hand-dyed emerald-green evenweave with a marbled effect. May also be stitched on a green, gray, yellow or natural beige background provided there is sufficient contrast for the white thread to stand out.
