Traditional costumes continue to inspire cross stitch designer Iveta Hlavinova. These two Russian inspired needlework dolls are very decorative and can be used as ornaments (see picture). A nice idea if you want to try something really different for this year's holiday decoration.

It's in the detail: Extra attention has been paid to the design of the doll's wide open eyes, stitched in a combination of quarter stitches criss crossed with back stitch. The stitched result is stunning.
