COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY IVETA HLAVINOVA
No doubt the designer Iveta Hlavinova was feeling nostalgic of the pretty little dolls of her childhood when she designed this cross stitch chart. These dolls feature the traditional costumes of her homeland Slovakia. They have neat and tidy hair, pretty aprons and blouses, large embroidered skirts and laced shoes. The embroidery floss colors used in the chart are bright and cheerful.
It's in the detail: We like the polished "Heidi like" rosy cheeks and the large doll eyes, ready to close when the doll is laid to sleep.
You can stitch all three dolls side by side as featured on the chart or individually if you are making a project for several little girls for instance. The dolls will be ideal for making a nameplates for little girls' bedroom doors.
