Sprinkled with what I call 'Assisi dust', this pattern is stitched in the Assisi style of a stiched background and open images."

The Traces of Lace series feature various lace motifs on different color backgrounds. The designs are all the same size so you can to stitch a pair or a series (such as cushions, of framed displays). Designer, Kathy Bungard, mounted her stitched work into a patchwork to hang on a wall and offers a tutorial with the cross stitch chart.
