While designing my Log Cabin Four Seasons series I made two for summer and while I decided on another pattern to represent Summer in that series, I liked this one so much that I'm presenting it on its own - Nautical Log Cabin.I hope its themes will appeal to you as well.

This cross stitch pattern is designed in the manner of the namesake quilting motif, with square cross stitch designs creating a repeat motif. The vignette, picturing boats almost still on a calm sea, becomes almost abstract when repeated horizontally and vertically. Like many of Gracewood Stitches' designs, the design has a little Art-Deco feel. We love the sunny colors too.
