Learn more about Glow-in-the-dark embroidery floss
The thread that glows at night!
In day time, Glow-in-the-dark embroidery floss is milky white and could almost be confused with regular white cotton floss.
What makes it special?
At night, your cross stitches softly glow...

How does it work?
When exposed to light, the thread captures the energy of the light beams. In total dark, the thread continues to gently glow.
For maximum effect, place the thread under a strong light for a few minutes, then watch in total darkness.

A fun thread that designers love to use:
Designers love to make their work a little different and special. They came up with plenty of ideas of words and text that glow at night, such as this adorable series of Purple Fairies chanting "Abracadabra"! (Agnès Delage Calvet design).
"We're a spooky family" is another of the designer's fun cross stitch patterns. It does make the piece a little spookier to have a strange glow at night...
