The Galliana Sampler
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY GALLIANA
This is the very first in Galliana's fun collection of customizable cross stitch charts designed to be stitched in any color combination you fancy.
Densely filled with ornemental borders, medallions and other decorative variations, it also includes some hidden references to the year 2020 when it was designed in the middle of the Covid pandemic. One interesting idea would be to stitch these motifs in a slightly different color. Here they are:

World Health Organisation initials
Kangaroo & bush fires
And what we were allowed to do or new hobbies we took up during lockdown:

Gardening (butterflies, flowers & watering cans)
Lots more time for tea and x stitch
And the last one is the hardest to find...top and bottom border is a film reel for all the extra television time we had.
As with all Galliana designs, this chart is monochrome and can be stitched using any count of fabric & floss of your choice. It's up to you how the stitched piece will turn out as you can truly personalise the design either stitching it all in one colour, maybe use two contrasting colours, variegated flosses or even a whole range of different colours.
A Guide to Colors is included with the chart with suggestions of different ways to apply colors to designs.
If stitching with one colour on 28 count over 2 using 2 strands, you will require approx 14 skeins of 8metre DMC or equivalent and the design area will be approx 15.5” x 20.5”.
