Sweet roses humbug
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY FABY REILLY DESIGNS
A garland of tiny roses elegantly wraps around this humbug shape.
A humbug is stitched on a rectangular piece of fabric and is then mounted by sewing the sides together, almost like a cushion cover until the last stage when it is "pinched" the other way. Faby Reilly has included useful step-by-step instructions with her chart to guide you in the process.
This particular humbug was not closed on one of the sides in order to be used as a small wrap to hold some sweets. What a lovely idea!
