Frosty Humbug
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY FABY REILLY DESIGNS
Stitch this pretty festive ornament that you can hang in a tree or use to add a touch of luxury to a dinner table. You can also fill the humbug with little treats as a gift for each guest.
Note: if you want to use the humbug for stuffing with small items (chocolates, sweets, silver coins...) do not close the vertical side of the humbug so that there is a slit large enough for slipping in any goodies. You can attach a small ribbon on either side of the slit and tie into a bow to close the opening.
The patterns is a geometrical motif evocative of winter, frost and snow. It combines cross stitch and intricate backstitch.
