A delightful winterscene featuring a snowman next to a park bench. He looks as if he is in deep conversation with the red robin landed at his feet, smilling wholeheartedly at what he is hearing.

Designwise, the pattern is a "frame within a frame", focusing our attention on the two characters in the center. The outerparts are lighter,as if seen behind a screen. This is most visible if you look at the tree, a deep green within the frame, and in subdued colors outside.

Stitchwise, the pattern is worked on a cross stitch base, with additional stitches added later on, such as backstitch, French (or Colonial) knots and the rice stitch lines used for the frame. There are silver highlights using a silver metallic of your choice such as Rainbow Gallery or Kreinik Braid #4 (3 are listed).
