This Wreath is part of a series of four you can stitch and display in your home throughout the year, for a little seasonal touch. We love their vintage feel.
The summer wreath features small pink roses, shiny red apples and deep green leaves, gracefully mixed with ornamental stitches.
The basis of the stitching is cross stitch, with added backstitch detail. The pattern is enhanced with mother of pearl seed beads, gold metallic thread and 2 variegated threads from the DMC Variations range.
If you are not yet familiar with these specialty stitches, you will also be introduced to the lazy daisy stitch and woven spider web stitch, guided by excellent step by step tutorials.
