We love the vintage feel of this sweet spring wreath designed by Faby Reilly. It is part of a series of four wreaths you can stitch and display in your home throughout the year, for a little seasonal touch.
The spring wreath features small pink roses and leaves, gracefully entwined berries and ornamental stitches.
The basis of the stitching is cross stitch, with added backstitch detail. The pattern is enhanced with translucid pink seed beads, gold metallic thread and 2 variegated threads from the DMC Variations range.
If you are not yet familiar with these specialty stitches, you will also be introduced to the lazy daisy stitch and woven spider web stitch, guided by excellent step by step tutorials.
