This pretty Christmas pendant shines on all its facets.

Inspired by the reflections and patterns of snow flakes and ice, each of the 6 sides of this needlework cube ornament is embellished with a specific motif. The designs includes a base of cross stitch, with silver metallic highlights of metallic thread backstitch, eyelet stitches over sequins and seed beads, including transparent ones with a silver lining. The mix of techniques and materials give the ornament a luxurious and festive feel.

Like each of Faby Reilly's needlework designs, the chart is accompanied by very detailed explanations, both for the stitching and for finishing the cube, up to the most delicate parts such as the corners.

To help with stitching, the charts are presented in 2 steps, with the cross stitch chart first, followed with a second chart featuring the various embellishments which cover the cross stitch base.

The needlework pattern is part of a series of matching "Let it Snow" ornaments , including a biscornu and a star shape (see below).
