This biscornu is an exquisite piece mixing cross stitch, specialty stitches, beads, sequins and metallic threads to achieve an almost jewelry-like effect.

It is mounted in a biscornu shape, with its distinctive hollow in the center, which designer Faby Reilly uses to nest the central snowflake, glistening in all its glory. The curved shape emphasizes the light-reflecting qualities of the crystals, beads and metallic threads.

The biscornu is stitched on both sides and can therefore be used as a hanging Christmas ornament.
 

For ease of use, the chart is presented in two stages, first the cross stitch base, then a second chart with all backstitching and beads. A tutorial is included with the chart for all specialty stitches and well as for mounting the biscornu.
