A pair of sophisticated and elegant fashion accessories, here's the Rose Chocolat Stitched Jewelry Pendant and Bracelet project, an exquisite design by Faby Reilly Designs. Combining cross stitch and some specialty stitches the designer takes us step by step through all the details for a perfect, professional finish.
The project includes two matching pieces, a pendant in the shape of a tiny biscornu stitched on both sides, and a cuff bracelet.
The design is stitched on linen, in petite stitch (cross stitch over one thread) and is enhanced by some backstitch and rib spider web stitches. As always, the designer has included detailed instructions for all the specialty stitches.
You will need some basic jewelry supplies such as the clasp for the bracelet and a chain for the pendant. No special jewelry skills are needed however so it's perfect, even if it's your first jewelry project.
Creative Poppy tip: Why not substitute you very own floss colors and background fabric? The project uses a palette of 5 color-coordinated floss colors that could easily be substitued should you feel inspired.
