Bats fly in the night as a full moon shines. Mice and a friendly ghost race around a log fire playing peek-a-boo. Green bubbles and white steam swirls emerge from the strange green substance cooking in the cauldron.  

This cute little Halloween cross stitch pattern is full of inventive detail. Expert needlework designer Faby Reilly introduces us to an interesting specialty stitch, the split stitch, but with an innovative twist as it has been adapted to counted cross stitch. It will have no secret for you, including handling the swirling curves, thanks to the excellent tutorial included with the chart.

The chart includes red seed beads for the ghost's head dress of leaves and berries.
