Wild Rose Scissor Case and Fob
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY FABY REILLY DESIGNS
Like the matching Needlebook (sold separately), this scissor case features a pretty wild rose of the type that grow in the countryside along fields and hedges.
A keen observer of plants, Faby Reilly captures in cross stitch the essence of the flower, its wide open petals, its golden heart, its prickly leaves and heavy hanging red fruit. There are some metallic highlights as well as seedbeads adding a dimensional effect to the stitching.
The pattern wraps around the scissorcase. There is a matching scissor fob, in the shape of a tiny biscornu, that is also stitched on both sides. The pattern comes with an extensive tutorial, guiding you step by step for the making of the scissor case.
