 Embroidery patterns and designs
A selection of surface embroidery designs using a variety of stitches such as satin stitch, stem stitch, lazy daisy stitch, woven roses stitch and many more. As opposed to counted cross stitch, where stitches are "read" on a chart and transposed onto the fabric canvas, surface embroidery is usually stitched on a tight woven evenweave. The design can be traced on the fabric as a guide, or can be stitched "free hand".
