Poppies (Korean style screen)
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY GRACEWOOD STITCHES
Kathy Bungard designer of Gracewood Stitches describes the pattern in her own words:
2012 is the year I discovered the world of Korean Historical Dramas. Their appeal is on many levels -
from excellent scripts, sets, costumes, music, direction and acting, to their strongly moral ethic.
Their depiction of people who fight life's battles and overcome obstacles with their strength of
character, grace and virtue is inspirational.
This pattern's motifs were inspired by all of the set's intricate screens that beautifully compliment the
spare furnishings found from peasant homes to palaces.

Creative Poppy says:
This screen-like cross stitch composition inspired by Korea's art and architecture is very original. An elegant and refined needlework motif with an Asian touch.
