COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART

Have fun with all those specialty threads! To render the delicate hues of these seashells, designer Monique Bonnin played with lots of different textures including metallic (copper and pink), pearlescent (pink and coral), and many DMC Color Variations threads (soft multicolor).

There are plenty of ideas for cross stitching this design. You could stitch it on the cover of a scrapbook, using the letters to personalize the cover ("Summer 2013"). You could use it for the cover of a box where you collect summer treasures.You could cross stitch the seashells individually on terry towels and redecorate you bathroom with some more matching seashells collected from the beach...
