Full of Spring color and cheerfulness, this Barbara Ana pattern, celebrates the tender relationship between a mother and her daughter.

The two bunnies are pottering in the garden, Mom in a pink dress and white leggings, and her little one in matching outfit, yet only the mother carries the key of the house. Mom is standing at the foot of a big flower, a tulip perhaps. The child observes her mother, holding a small stem in her hand, with flowers in bud.

The particularity of this embroidery is that it is cross stitched on a canvas, with the background completely covered and worked in a beautiful rustic wool (Moire). The yarn is sold in bobbins (photo), and used without separating strands. While fully cross stitch, the stitched piece looks similar to needlepoint or tapestry, with a soft and woolly feel, well suited to the theme of the design. Should you prefer cotton to wool, an equivalence with DMC embroidery floss is also provided.
