The branch (Come with me All Hallows night)
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY BARBARA ANA DESIGNS
A cross stitch pattern based on the playful poem (19th century, author unknown):
"Come with me All Hallows night
We'll frighten everyone in sight
Such pranks for once, are justified
And fun and frolic amplified"
A branch grows out of a tree and divides like the lanes of a village, houses scattered here and there... Can you hear the call to come out and have fun?
The piece is designed to be stitched on linen or evenweave needlework fabric. The text part is stitched over one thread while the rest of the design is cross stitched over two threads.
