A sweet nothing to give to a friend and say Thank you... from the heart.

The heart-shaped design includes Quaker style letters and motifs, arranged in a bit of an aphazard way, with a vintage feel.

The piece is stitched on 40ct cream linen which results in a nice compact size just under 6 inch (14 cm) high. The linen fabric (photo) was hand dyed with coffee for a natural antique effect.

The thread used (photo) is a variegated thread from Gütermann: SULKY Blendables cotton 30 in color 4007. The pattern being worked in a single color, you can easily substitute it with an overdyed thread of your choice such as Gentle Art's Sampler Threads  (red grape, cranberry, red plum or claret) or  DMC variations 4210.

Stuff with pot-pourri to finish into a scented bag and attach a pretty ribbon for hanging.
