There's a soft and luminous glow emanating from the whole stitched piece. Light is present everywhere in this snowy landscape, from the small lantern, the stars, the lit windows in the house, the lampost and the stars in the background.
The pattern is an easy stitch and should be quite fast to complete should you be a little short of time before Christmas.
