Mary Pepper Pouch
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Barbara Ana Designs
Here's Mary Peppper, a sweet cross stitch design by Barbara Ana combining an imaginary bird and a stylised flower. The bird has eagle like wings, polka dotted feathers, sharp paws, a pointy beak, a weird orange eye, and a matching dog-like collar. The splendid ornamental flower, tulip-shaped, is stitched in vivid orange and terracotta colours. A key and various small cross stitch motifs fill the background.
The stitched piece was finished as a small pouch, and could also be used for the pocket of an apron or a tote bag. Alternatively simply frame the design in a vintage wood frame or finish as a cushion.
Note: Chart does not include any finishing instructions.
