Exquisite combination of cross stitch and backstitch rendering the intricate effect of lace.

 

This pattern is designed as a continuous band. Use two sections to make a bookmark. You can also stitch the motif continuously, in any desired length.

 

The motif is also perfect for making:

- a book cover: with the band running vertically on the right side

- the flap of a pouch: position the band horizontally, towards the bottom of the flap.

- curtain tiebacks: use iron-on fusible web to give the fabric some hold

- an embellishment for a shelf: run the band horizontally, along the side of the shelf

etc…
