Now what's a pendeloque? Well it is a unique piece, a great new pear shape that Faby Reilly has designed for making needlework ornaments. It comes in two pieces with a square base and the rest of the shape wraping round the piece and tapering off at the top. The chart includes a backstitched outline. Once you've done the stitching, simply whipstitch the backlines two by two as indicated and your unique "pendeloque" will take shape.

This piece is so pretty with a mix of different Christmas themes, the holly, mistletoe and pointsettia winding round the ornament. There are many interesting highlights in specialty stitches and pretty seed beads that add the final touch to this delightful project.

The Xmas pendeloque is color-coordinated with the other ornaments in the series with include a star, a biscornu and four humbugs.
