BLACKWORK CHART

A pretty gift idea to stitch for a newborn baby. This cushion is stitched on a light pink gingham printed Aida from the DMC Impressions needlework fabric range. This ads extra interest to the stitching. Notice the pretty border with a duck and her ducklings.

There is a matching baby mobile also in blackwork.

The stitches are dominantly backstitch, with a few additional cross stitches. Instructions for mounting the cushion are included with the chart.
