Here's the third Kokeshi pattern  in Barbara Ana's exquisite collection of Japanese dolls adapted for cross sitch on small biscornu cushions.

This one features a very young girl taking a walk in a Japanese garden, amid the cherry blossom.

This pattern is embellished with a cute geometric motif of white flowers backstitched using fine white Pearl cotton (size 12) which gives the stitching a very neat and dimensional aspect. The biscornu is further adorned with Swarovsky beads.

Threads used are from The Gentle Art's range of overdyed floss. DMC substitute are also provided
